The Biography of Leigha Mai-Ling

 

Multi-Talented, highly Motivated & on the Move! This Actress, Model, Dancer, Songwriter/Poet & Business Woman has been performing on stage and abroad since the tender age of 5 years old. Born Leigha Mai-Ling Phillips from Bronx NY, by way of Philadelphia, PA. She’s has been featured in several independent plays & movies “Sure Looks Good”, “Ex$pendables”, & “Can’t Judge a Book” just to name a few. In addition to her motion picture & theatrical credit, she can also been seen in Essence Magazine, Vibe Magazine, numerous fashion & entertainment events around the tri-state area and was deemed 2008 Rocawear.com Model of the Year.​

 

After escaping a near death experience; Ms. Mai-Ling truly feels she has been put here for a purpose, dedicating her life to giving back and trying to make a positive difference in people’s live, whether, professionally, emotionally or spiritually. She has been a youth mentor & counselor, and a Motivational / Personal Development Coach to woman & men training to better their lives in job assistance programs. In addition she has focused on excelling academically by receiving the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence, inducted into the National Honor Society and achieving Dean’s List with a 3.5 GPA at Temple University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Theater. 

 

Currently Ms. Mai-Ling is a part time business consultant / business owner and a full time woman chasing her dream.
